Renting with no deposit at all is the exception for vehicles worth six figures, because otherwise providers carry the full risk. Here is how to keep the deposit as low as possible.
Why a deposit is common
The deposit serves as security against damage beyond normal use. Without it, providers would have to absorb the risk through higher rental prices.

Deposit reduction
Some providers offer a reduction of the deductible for an extra charge. Ask about it directly when you send your inquiry.
Tip: With some providers, a clean rental record and a longer rental duration can make it easier to negotiate the deposit amount.
