Privacy Policy
Scope
This privacy policy informs users about the nature, scope and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible operator CXMXO UG, Hansaring 1, 50670 Cologne, Germany, office@cxmxo.com, +49 (0) 221 165 323 79 on the website luxurycarrental.one (hereinafter the “Service”).
The legal basis for data protection can be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).
Access data / server log files
The operator (or its web hosting provider) collects data on every access to the Service (so-called server log files). Access data includes:
Name of the page or file accessed, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting internet service provider.
The operator uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimizing the Service. However, the operator reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if concrete indications give rise to a justified suspicion of unlawful use.
Contact
When contacting the operator (for example via contact form or email), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise.
Rental inquiry
Through the inquiry form, we collect the information you enter (location, vehicle or vehicle class, pickup date, rental duration, name, email address, phone number and, optionally, a message). We use the data exclusively to process your inquiry and to obtain an individual offer for you.
As an intermediary, we forward your inquiry to the respective vehicle rental provider so that an offer can be prepared. Data is passed on to third parties only to this extent. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request. To protect against misuse, we additionally store the time, IP address and browser identifier of the inquiry.
Customer account
You can optionally use a customer account to view your inquiries and their status, save vehicles and locations, and manage your profile. Sign-in is by email link without a password. We store your email address, optionally your name and phone number, your favorites and the time of your last sign-in.
You can delete your account at any time in the profile area. This removes your profile, favorites and settings. Inquiries already sent remain stored for processing and due to statutory retention obligations. The account uses a technically necessary session cookie.
Newsletter
With the newsletter, we inform you about us and our offers.
If you wish to receive the newsletter, we need a valid email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. This data is used only for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your IP address and the date of subscription. This storage serves solely as proof in case a third party misuses an email address and subscribes to the newsletter without the knowledge of the rightful owner.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. You can withdraw your consent via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area, or by notifying us using the contact options above.
Integration of third-party services and content
Within this online offering, third-party content such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites may be embedded. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter “third-party providers”) receive the users' IP address. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the respective user's browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavor to use only content whose providers use the IP address solely to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether third-party providers store the IP address, for example for statistical purposes. Where this is known to us, we inform users about it.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that make it possible to store device-specific information on the user's access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). On the one hand, they serve the usability of websites and thus the users (e.g., storing login data). On the other hand, they are used to collect statistical data on website use so that it can be analyzed in order to improve the Service. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. Please note, however, that use of the Service, and in particular ease of use, will be limited without cookies.
You can manage many online advertising cookies of companies via the US website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ .
Fonts and local storage
The fonts used are delivered from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts is made. For functions such as favorites (without an account), your cookie choice and the install prompt of the web app, we use your browser's local storage. This data remains on your device. The web app function (service worker) caches public page components; private areas such as your account are never cached.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is only used if you have consented in the cookie notice. Without consent, no measurement takes place. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
This Service uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on users' computers and enable an analysis of their use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about users' use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
If IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, users' IP addresses will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate users' use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide further services relating to website and internet use to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; however, this Service points out to users that in this case they may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. Users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website (including their IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Further information on the use of data for advertising purposes by Google, as well as settings and opt-out options, can be found on Google's websites: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/partners/ (“How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps”), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads (“Data use for advertising purposes”), http://www.google.de/settings/ads (“Manage the information Google uses to show you ads”) and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/ (“Decide which ads Google shows you”).
You can prevent collection by Google Analytics at any time by withdrawing your consent via “Cookie settings” in the footer or by allowing only necessary cookies, or by installing the browser add-on provided by Google to deactivate Google Analytics.
Share buttons
The share buttons (WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, X, email) are simple links. No plug-ins of the providers are loaded. Only when you click a link is data transmitted to the respective service, whose privacy terms then apply.
Your rights under the GDPR
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we store about you, to have inaccurate data rectified, to have your data erased, to restrict its processing, to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability), and to object to the processing of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.
Revocation, changes, corrections and updates
Upon request, the user has the right to obtain, free of charge, information about the personal data stored about them. In addition, the user has the right to rectification of inaccurate data and to blocking and erasure of their personal data, unless a statutory retention obligation prevents this.
