Multi-day rentals usually cost less per day than single days. The provider decides how large the discount is.
What to look for in offers
- Mileage: Many providers limit the included kilometers (often 100–300 km per day). Extra kilometers are charged separately, depending on the model.
- Insurance and deductible: Comprehensive insurance with a deductible is common, and the deductible often equals the security deposit.
- Security deposit: Usually pre-authorized on a credit card and released after the vehicle is returned.
- Fuel: As a rule, the vehicle is handed over with a full tank and is expected back the same way.
- Extras: Hotel delivery, a chauffeur or an additional driver are possible for an extra charge, depending on the provider.
